About Emmanuel

I am a founder, athlete, and speaker—but above all, I am a brother, a son, an uncle, a friend, and a mentor.
I was born in a refugee camp in Zambia in the aftermath of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, a beginning that shaped my understanding of resilience long before I could define it. Moving to Illinois at the age of two, and as the youngest of ten siblings, I was raised in an environment where strength, sacrifice, and family were not just values—they were necessities. At age 9 my love for sports began, ultimately leading to Division 1 football and becoming the first Rwandan to Sign an NFL contract. I learned many lessons along the way but above all, my mother’s example became the foundation for how I approach life, leadership, and adversity.
Today, I carry those same principles into everything I do. As the founder of LRT Holdings and leader of Vision Forward Foundation, I focus on building businesses and creating opportunities that extend beyond myself—particularly through the social and economic empowerment of underserved youth.
Whether through athletics, business, or speaking, my work is rooted in resilience, family, and meaningful relationships. I believe impact is built through connection—and through that, we have the ability to create something far greater than ourselves.
Join me in building a limitless impact.
